Our History
Pharmaplus’ remarkable journey began on January 30, 2014, when Ms. Mitzi L. Lim founded Bewise Trading Corp / Pharmaplus to provide quality pharmaceutical products to the community. A few days later, on February 3, 2014, the company commenced operations in Casals Village, Cebu City, with a small but dedicated team of only three employees. The official inauguration on March 20, 2014, marked a significant milestone as the team expanded to ten employees at its new location in the Questhomes Building, Don Larrazabal Ave., NRA, Subangdako, Mandaue City, Cebu.
As the company grew, it faced the challenges of a changing world, relocating to a new office at Mandaue 1 Ave., Plaridel St., Brgy. Alang-Alang, Mandaue City, during the pandemic on March 6-7, 2020. This move ensured that Pharmaplus could continue to serve its clients effectively amid unprecedented circumstances.
Recognizing the need for a robust product line, Pharmaplus established its Sureplus brand for medical supplies and devices in 2021, followed by the launch of the Suremed brand for generic medicines in 2022. These brands officially debuted on November 14, 2024, further solidifying Pharmaplus’ commitment to providing high-quality healthcare solutions.
Today, Pharmaplus proudly employs a diverse team of 79 individuals, all dedicated to delivering excellence in the distribution of medicines and medical supplies. The company has gained recognition for its innovative brands, Sureplus and Suremed, reflecting its mission to meet the evolving healthcare needs of the community.
