The MISSION of Pharmaplus was conceived in the aftermath of YOLANDA, the devastating super-typhoon that ravaged the Visayas in 2013, and the terrible earthquake that shook certain Visayan regions in the same year.

Ms. Mitzi Laguda Lim, who owned and operated an independent drugstore until 2013, was contacted by several individuals and NGOs who needed medicines and medical supplies at very reasonable prices and significant volumes… and “pronto” or a.s.a.p..

In this environment, the idea … and the MISSION… was conceived: provide quality and affordable pharmaceutical products and medical supplies with excellent service, and extend value-added healthcare solutions to clients and the consuming public.

PHARMAPLUS was established in 2014 with a mission to provide affordable medicines and medical supplies of the best quality to Filipinos. As a pharmaceutical company, it engages in wholesale and retail of branded and unbranded generic products, innovator drugs, and medical supplies.

Ms. Mitzi Laguda Lim, the founder and president who is a dynamic business woman, together with the highly engaged and proactive employees, has led the company to withstand the ups and down of the business in its initial year. Pharmaplus will continue to seek and expand its customer base and provide affordable quality medicines and medical supplies. It aims to be “the plus in your business” by providing not only affordable prices and high quality products, but especially the excellent service that its clients need.
